Objective:
The objective of the presentation is to communicate some aspect of the elements discussed in this class through a new format that is NOT an essay. The point is NOT to perform a “book report” about the concept, but to demonstrate that you understand what it means and how it appears in popular culture.
This is not an essay, but an exploration of the new ways in which we receive our entertainment in modern society. Some examples of submissions include (but aren’t limited to) slide shows, podcasts, memes/gifs, SoundCloud contributions, YouTube videos or iMovies (that you make yourself), video games, Instagram stories or posts, TikTok, Twitter feeds, etc. This list is endless and the sky is the limit.
I want it to be creative and interesting, and NOT BE AN ESSAY!!!!

Guidelines:
Submit a one-page (at least) paper summarizing the above guidelines. It should adhere to the expectations of an academic paper. It should cover the process of constructing the presentation (the hows and the whys involved), and a justification for its pairing with the text. The paper will answer questions like “why did I choose this element,” “how did I construct the presentation” and/or “what did I learn during invention and creation?” This justification paper should be brief, but include a Works Cited page, to include any images or music you borrowed.
